Sophie Zelmani to Embark on Intimate Church Tour in Autumn 2026

After an intense year with a new album, an appearance on TV4’s Så mycket bättre, and extensive tours across both Sweden and Europe, Sophie Zelmani is now choosing to do something different. In autumn 2026, she will head out on a short church tour together with her longtime collaborator, producer and guitarist Lars Halapi.
The tour will be a stripped-back meeting between Zelmani’s distinctive voice, Halapi’s guitar playing, and the natural acoustics of the church spaces. Unlike her previous concerts, where she has consistently performed with a full band and the same musicians over a long period of time, this will be a more intimate duo setting.
The idea for a church tour grew out of a desire to let the music meet a different kind of space. The acoustics of the churches open up possibilities for new arrangements and a special setlist, where songs that may not previously have fit naturally into a band format can find new life.
Over the years, Sophie Zelmani has built a musical universe of her own, defined by understated presence, strong recognition, and a personal expression that few other Swedish artists can match. In the church setting, audiences will now have the opportunity to experience her music in a closer and more concentrated form.
The church tour begins on 6 November in Linköping and concludes on 20 November in Stockholm.
