The British electro-funk trio Jungle has just revealed the upcoming release of their fourth album titled "Sunshine," set for August 14, 2026. Following a successful tour that concluded with a sold-out show at the iconic The O2 Arena in London, the band quickly rekindles the attention of their fans. This new album is highly anticipated and marks a new era for the group, known for their unique fusion of funk, soul, and electronic music.

In addition to the album announcement, Jungle also dropped their first single from this upcoming record, titled "Carry On." The song provides an excellent introduction to the musical landscape fans can expect. "Carry On" features strong melodies and a catchy beat, which is characteristic of the band’s style. The music offers both nostalgia and a fresh sound, showcasing how the band has evolved since their last album. Producer and co-founder Tom McFarland commented in an interview that the song’s theme revolves around moving forward despite adversities—a sentiment many listeners can relate to.

Before the release of "Sunshine," their last album, "Loving In Stereo," was released in 2021. That album was warmly received by both critics and fans and included hit singles like "Keep Moving" and "Truth." By returning with new material, Jungle demonstrates that they continue to be a strong force in the modern music scene. They are also planning an extensive tour to support the new album, which offers fans a chance to experience their energetic live performances that they are renowned for.

“Music has always been a reflection of what we go through, and I think this album captures our journey over the last few years,” McFarland explained. He and co-founder Josh Lloyd-Watkin have always maintained a deep connection with their audience, making their lyrics often touch on themes of love, life, and the struggles of modern society. Jungle intends to explore new themes and styles in this album while keeping the essence that made them loved in the first place.

The band has always emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong visual presentation that complements their music. In line with this new album, they have also been working on captivating music videos scheduled to be released alongside the singles. Their visual concepts consistently feature a colorful and energetic aesthetic that reflects the funky vibe of their music. With "Carry On" as a starting point, we are already looking forward to what else will come from their album "Sunshine."
