Stockholm is set to welcome a fresh concert concept in late summer 2026 as Winterviken Live – Sommarscenen launches with a series of open-air events surrounded by nature. Set in the lush environs of Vinterviken, this new music initiative promises to bridge the best of the city and the tranquility of green spaces, offering audiences a unique cultural destination just outside the urban core.

Organized by All Things Live in partnership with Winterviken, the event will unfold over four evenings in August, each crafted with its own distinct musical identity. The ambition is to create more than a typical live show: attendees are invited to enjoy a blend of music, food, drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Stockholm’s summer landscape.

The program for the debut year showcases a wide range of Swedish talent, ensuring each night offers a different sonic experience. The series opens on August 26 with a country and Americana-infused night headlined by Chris Kläfford, joined by Erika Jonsson and H. Self. On August 28, the focus shifts to electronic pop, with acclaimed act Familjen (Johan T. Karlsson) taking the stage and additional acts to be announced.

Soul and funk take center stage on August 29, when Eric Gadd shares the bill with the dynamic collective Blacknuss, promising an energetic and danceable evening. Finally, on August 30, Swedish pop classics are celebrated as Uno Svenningsson performs, with support from Clara Mae, closing out the inaugural season on a melodic note.

What sets Winterviken Live – Sommarscenen apart is its vision of a complete evening out. Beyond the concerts themselves, guests will find an array of culinary options, from food stalls and bar services to the opportunity to book a seated dinner in Winterviken’s acclaimed restaurant before the music begins. This integration of gastronomic offerings is designed to encourage audiences to linger, socialize, and fully immerse themselves in the natural and musical ambiance.

While detailed information about additional acts and special programming—particularly for the electronic pop night—remains forthcoming, organizers express clear intentions for the project’s future. They aim for Sommarscenen to become a staple of Stockholm’s summer music calendar, with hopes that both audiences and artists will embrace the stage as a new seasonal favorite. The precise direction of the initiative beyond its launch year is described as part of a long-term vision, with ambition for growth and continued innovation.

Tickets for all four concerts will be released on April 23 at 10:00 AM through All Things Live’s channels. As Stockholm readies itself for the premiere of Winterviken Live – Sommarscenen, anticipation is high for an event series that combines Swedish musical diversity, natural beauty, and social enjoyment—a new highlight for the city’s vibrant cultural life.
