More Artists Announced for Way Out West 2026

As anticipation builds for Way Out West 2026, the renowned festival in Gothenburg's Slottsskogen park is celebrating another wave of artist announcements. Scheduled for August 13–15, the event has already seen two of its three days sell out according to the organizers, indicating high demand months ahead of the festival dates.

The latest artist reveal adds six distinct acts to an already impressive lineup. Among the new names are British jazz collective Ezra Collective, the rising UK singer-songwriter Alessi Rose, Swedish artist Yaeger, American group Fcukers, innovative Australian producer Ninajirachi, and Greek indie pop musician Σtella. These additions further diversify the festival’s musical offerings, reflecting Way Out West’s tradition of presenting both established stars and exciting emerging talent from around the globe.

Earlier announcements featured a range of acclaimed performers, including legendary acts like The Cure, Gorillaz, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and The xx. International pop icons such as Lorde, Moby, and Swedish success Zara Larsson are also slated to perform, alongside an eclectic mix of other notable artists. The diverse roster suggests that festivalgoers can expect a rich blend of musical genres spanning alternative rock, indie pop, hip hop, electronic, and jazz.

Way Out West is projected to host over 100 artists across three days, transforming Slottsskogen into a hub for live music and cultural experiences. Complementing the main festival is Stay Out West, a parallel club concept that features performances at various venues throughout Gothenburg after the main festival area closes each night. This extended program gives attendees the chance to discover both headlining and up-and-coming artists in more intimate local settings well into the evening.

While detailed day-to-day schedules and set times have yet to be released, additional artist announcements are expected as the festival draws closer. With two days already sold out and a lineup that continues to grow in scope and depth, Way Out West 2026 looks set to reaffirm its position as one of Scandinavia’s premier music festivals.
