The highly anticipated Roots & Jazz Copenhagen Festival has unveiled its program for the 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from July 4 to July 11 at Den Røde Plads in Copenhagen. The festival is set to showcase a diverse array of musical genres, including blues, RnB, neo-soul, jazz, and afrobeat, featuring both Danish and international artists, delivering a vibrant musical experience for all attendees.

This year's lineup boasts a mix of talent, with notable performances announced from artists such as Jon Allen from the UK, Jaleesa from Denmark, MonoNeon from the US, and Southern Avenue, also from the US. The festival is known for its strong music profile and inclusive atmosphere, promising to welcome audiences from various backgrounds.

In addition to the headlining acts, the festival will offer multiple ticket options tailored for different audiences, including various "Partout" passes priced from 249 DKK to 549 DKK. Daily tickets are available, offering flexibility for those looking to experience the festival without committing to the entire week. Special rates for students and free admission for children under 12 and companions of persons with disabilities will further encourage a broad demographic to enjoy the musical offerings.

Roots & Jazz Copenhagen has a solid history, having been a staple in the festival scene since its inception in 2011. The event has previously featured a range of accomplished artists like Judith Hill, Zap Mama, Butcher Brown, and Robert Finley. The festival's collaborative spirit is evident in its previous partnerships, notably with Tønder Festival, which showcased various artists in themed performances.

The festival's move to Den Røde Plads in 2024 has significantly increased attendance, creating a more dynamic atmosphere for festival-goers. With a committed team of volunteers between 60 to 80 individuals, the festival continues to grow and adapt, making it a beloved event in the Danish cultural calendar.

While the latest announcement is exciting, uncertainties remain regarding specific concert dates and additional artists who may be included in the festival lineup. Thus far, the complete program has yet to be publicly confirmed, leaving anticipation high among fans and attendees alike.

Overall, the Roots & Jazz Copenhagen Festival promises to deliver world-class music and a spirited community vibe, further solidifying its reputation as a premier event in Denmark's rich cultural landscape.
