Foo Fighters release new single "Caught in the Echo"
Foo Fighters have recently released their new single "Caught in the Echo," the fourth preview from their upcoming album "Your Favorite Toy." The album is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026, through Roswell Records and Columbia Records. The new single is characterized by its raw and direct style, reflecting the band's classic energy. The track follows the sonic trend of previous singles, featuring dense guitars and a powerful vocal performance from Dave Grohl.
"Caught in the Echo" is the latest in a series of singles that began with "Asking for a Friend" and continued with the title track "Your Favorite Toy." In previous interviews, Grohl hinted that "Your Favorite Toy" will be an album dominated by fast, loud, and energetic songs, a sort of return to the direct spirit of the band's earlier records. The album also marks the debut of Ilan Rubin as the band's official drummer, following Josh Freese's departure. Rubin, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves, brings a powerful style that fits the new sonic direction. Foo Fighters have also announced an international tour, "Take Cover Tour," which will visit Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as an Easter streaming of their intimate concert in Dublin, "Live at St James' Church."
