On June 26, 2025, Zinkensdamms IP in Stockholm transformed into a pulsating deathcore arena as the Broken Summer festival took place. With a lineup featuring bands like Adept, Poppy, thrown, Currents, Whitechapel, and Mental Cruelty, it was Lorna Shore who took center stage, delivering a concert to be remembered.

Organized by FKP Scorpio, the festival attracted over 7,000 attendees who gathered to experience a day filled with intense music and camaraderie. In addition to the powerful performances, visitors enjoyed a wide array of food from food trucks, several bars, and an exclusive merch area to secure mementos from the day.

During their 70-minute set, Lorna Shore demonstrated why they are considered leaders in the deathcore genre. With songs like "Sun//Eater," "Cursed to Die," and the epic "Pain Remains" suite, the band created an atmosphere that made all of Södermalm vibrate. Vocalist Will Ramos impressed with his vocal versatility, from deep growls to piercing high notes, cementing his status as one of the genre's most dynamic frontmen.

The festival's organization and execution were praised for their efficiency, creating an experience that rivals larger events. With a well-planned schedule, a diverse selection of food and drink, and an engaged audience, Broken Summer demonstrated that smaller festivals can offer equally memorable experiences as their larger counterparts.

In summary, Broken Summer 2025 was a triumph for deathcore and metalcore fans, with Lorna Shore's performance as the highlight. The festival set a high standard for future events and proved that the passion for heavy music is alive and well in Stockholm.
